Rob has been doing technical theater in some form since 1980. He holds three degrees in technical theater: Associate’s Degree in Arts – College of DuPage, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Scenic Design (Valedictorian)- Northern Illinois University, Master of Fine Arts in Technical Direction – University of Texas at Austin. Over 40 years professional experience in technical production, over 450 separate productions including over 100 scenic designs. 25 years of professional work at most of the theaters in Milwaukee including over 90 opening nights at Skylight Opera Theatre as Technical Director. Started teaching at UW-Madison in 2012 and no longer gets lost in Vilas Hall these days. Responsible for teaching Theatre 160, 220, 361, 431, and 472. Stop by the Scene Studio if you have questions.
