Standish, Audrey Lauren

Audrey Lauren Standish (she/her) has been creating theatre since childhood. She holds an MFA from the University of Idaho in Play Direction with a focus on New Play Development and Musical Theatre. Audrey has directed plays all over the Midwest and Pacific Northwest. Although she has an MFA in Play Direction, she also has shared the stage as a performer with roles ranging from Amanda in The Glass Menagerie and Maureen in RENT. In 2021 her interests shifted when she then pursued certification for Intimacy Direction and Choreography.  She has completed over 500 + hours of training through Intimacy Directors and Coordinators and Theatrical Intimacy Education.  Audrey started teaching at UW-Madison in 2017.  She is a generalist for the Department of Theatre and Drama and has taught: 150, 219, 250, 260, 350, 360, 367, 368, 379 and 595.
