
Ellinora Wondra graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in May 2025 with dual degrees in Textiles and Fashion Design (BS) and Theatre and Drama (BS). She has worked professionally as a costume designer for Treasure Island, Holmes and Watson, and I and You at Festival Theatre in her hometown of Saint Croix Falls, WI. Her experience also includes a Costume Construction Internship at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, as well as assistant design and stitching work with Chicago’s Lifeline Theatre, Children’s Theater of Madison, and First Act Children’s Theatre.
As a student at UW–Madison, she costume designed the 2025 production of Spring Awakening and contributed to multiple other shows through assistant design, construction work, and acting.
Ellinora is excited to step into the role of Teaching Specialist in the UW–Madison costume studio, where she will continue creating costumes and teaching sewing. With a strong foundation in fashion and a passion for theatrical storytelling, she is building a career in costume design and construction centered on imaginative, detail-rich work.
