Isabel graduated from Lawrence University in 2024 with a degree in Theatre Arts, specializing in production and prop making. She ended up in her first theatre course – prop making – by accident during her freshman year, but within a semester, she was already working as a prop designer for her first show. Her passion for hands-on, project-based work quickly evolved into a career. She began with a props internship in Door County, then moved to an apprenticeship on the East Coast, and eventually traveled across the Atlantic to London, where she studied theatre and interned with a local theatre company. After traveling the world for both school and work, Isabel has returned to the Midwest, where she was raised, to work as the props director for UW Madison’s Theatre & Drama Department.
