The UW-Madison Center for Tobacco Research and Intervention (https://ctri.wisc.edu/) has an opportunity for talented theatre students to showcase their skills and abilities.
We are seeking actors who appear to be between the ages of 18 to 24 to film a series of TikTok style selfie videos to help young adults address their nicotine vaping. Videos will portray young adults’ experiences trying to quit vaping or change their vaping habits, such as struggles and successes. They’ll be somewhat like these from the Truth Initiative: www.thetruth.com/hot-topic/quitting-stories. Actors will record multiple videos portraying different characters in different settings. Videos will be approximately 15 seconds to 1 minute in total duration each. Total time commitment is anticipated to be approximately 3 hours. This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity that students could add to their reels.
Actors can submit their virtual auditions online here: https://forms.gle/1ww45Qw3Wzsht8hS9
