Description: Shakespeare’s haunting tale of ambition and madness is brought to thrilling life in a vigorous production that lays bare the dark soul of the tragedy. Inspired by mysteriously prophetic witches, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth murderously ascend to the heights of power only for their bloody deeds to cause their fall into chaos and ruin.
Rehearsals begin: Table work and combat rehearsals to begin early February 2023 (Friday afternoons and possible weekends) with staging rehearsals to begin March 6.
Performance Dates: April 20-30, 2023 including 10 am matinees April 21 and 28 in the Ronald E. Mitchell Theatre

- Callbacks Sunday 1/29/23 10 am – 2 pm Vilas 1090
Casting: Auditions open to students of all genders, ethnicities, abilities, and experience levels and casting may not follow traditional casting practices for the play. University Theatre auditions are open to all students regardless of major.
