At the Ark at Eight – March 13 – March 22, 2015

by Melinda Menard

No one likes to miss the boat.  It is even more important if you have to get to Noah’s Ark before the flood comes.  University Theatre and Theatre for Young Audiences hope that you will grab a ticket before this play leaves the theatre!

March 13th - 22nd

March 13th – 22nd

The rain is starting to fall – get to the boat! In another refreshing new take on a familiar story, ‘At the Ark at Eight’ offers a philosophical take on the story of Noah and the Ark – from the perspective of three tricky, witty penguins.  When they are summoned to the ark, these penguin friends begin a wild adventure. They learn and grow by exploring issues of friendship, companionship, morality and the nature of God. This Theatre for Youth production is suitable for ages 8 and up.  Tickets are just $10.  A complimentary child ticket is included in the purchase of regular ticket.  For more information on purchasing tickets, please visit arts.wisc.edu.
